When do reservations open? the exact day and time to book

Pick your arrival date to see the day and time it can be booked.

Most Recreation.gov campgrounds release each date 6 months ahead at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. Some use another window - check the booking window on its Recreation.gov page and change it above. Popular dates can be gone within minutes.

How the booking window works

Entrance to Acadia National Park: $35 per vehicle, valid 7 days (NPS). Camping is paid separately. The $80 America the Beautiful pass covers it - it pays off from about 3 such visits a year. Does the pass pay off for my trip?
